JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Bilingual Preferred: English & Spanish

Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, completing bank deposits, and using property management software to record, track, and report financial activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete daily financial transactions including collecting and posting payments, preparing bank deposits, and reconciling accounts.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and ensure data integrity through updates and backups.
  3. Review resident files and records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation, approval, coding, and communication.
  5. Follow established procedures for evictions, including notices, court representations, and legal compliance.
  6. Manage resident move-outs, applying deposit and cancellation fees as appropriate, and processing dispositions legally and accurately.
  7. Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
  8. Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager, organizing daily work and coordinating maintenance.
  9. Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
