Job Description Summary

Supports the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community by handling accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, invoice processing, rent collection, bank deposits, and using property management software to record and report financial activities.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing daily financial transactions, including rent collection, invoice processing, bank deposits, and reconciliations.
  2. Operating property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and maintaining data integrity.
  3. Reviewing resident accounts for unpaid or late fees, communicating with residents, and enforcing lease policies to maximize revenue.
  4. Processing vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and coding.
  5. Following procedures for evictions, including notices and legal proceedings.
  6. Handling resident move-outs, applying deposits, and ensuring legal compliance.
  7. Responding to resident inquiries to promote satisfaction and retention.
  8. Acting as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, coordinating maintenance and daily operations.
  9. Assisting with owner relations by providing updates and community performance reports.

The hourly pay range is $26.00 - $30.00, with additional bonuses based on performance and role specifics.
