Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Job Summary

This support position manages financial records for an assigned community, including summarizing details in reports, reconciling monthly reports, and compiling statistics related to the operation of the business. The Assistant Community Manager must be available to work specific days for bookkeeping and collections.

Essential Job Functions
  • Posting funds, making deposits, and preparing legal notices.
  • Processing NSF checks and notifying residents.
  • Completing move-out procedures and assessing damages.
  • Closing and reconciling monthly reports.
  • Supporting leasing efforts, including marketing calls and lease renewals.
  • Assisting with resident activities and communication.
  • Maintaining professionalism and understanding Fair Housing Laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
  • Problem-solving using rational systems and mastering computer software.
  • Previous experience in multifamily property management, especially with Tax Credit communities, is a plus.
  • Experience with Yardi software is preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical activities as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Good vision for close and distance tasks.
