Job Responsibilities

Assist the Community Manager in managing the community's financial and operational aspects, including accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, rent collection, invoice processing, and using property management software to record and report financial data.

  • Handle daily financial transactions such as rent collection, bank deposits, and account reconciliations.
  • Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and securely.
  • Review resident accounts for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  • Manage vendor invoices, ensuring proper approval, coding, and communication.
  • Follow procedures for evictions, including notices, court representation, and legal compliance.
  • Process move-outs, apply deposits, and handle lease cancellations per legal requirements.
  • Address resident concerns promptly to promote satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, overseeing daily operations and maintenance coordination.
  • Support owner relations through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, sit, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Travel as needed for property support, training, or meetings.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits
