JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The role supports the Community Manager by overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include completing accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, reconciling accounts, and utilizing property management software to record and report financial activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Complete daily financial transactions such as rent collection, bank deposits, and account reconciliations.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  3. Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease agreements to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor invoices, coordinate with relevant parties, and ensure proper documentation and coding.
  5. Follow established procedures for evictions, including notices, court proceedings, and legal compliance.
  6. Manage resident move-outs, applying deposits and fees according to lease terms and legal requirements.
  7. Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
  8. Assist in managing daily operations in the absence of the Community Manager, including coordinating maintenance tasks.
  9. Engage with owners by providing community updates, conducting tours, and responding to requests.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, and carry objects up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; occasional travel may be required.
