Job Details:

We seek friendly, self-motivated individuals with positive attitudes and a drive to succeed to join our growing team. Currently, we are hiring a full-time Assistant Community Manager for Park Place Apartment Community in McAlester, OK.

Position Overview:

This role supports the Community Manager in daily on-site management and operations. The assistant also helps with special projects and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise leasing, maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping staff.
  • Stay informed about local competition and market trends.
  • Complete weekly activity reports, rental applications, and record rental data accurately.
  • Assist with resident request reporting, assignment, and recording.
  • Support resident renewal and retention programs.
  • Handle rent collection, receipting, and recording.
  • Manage delinquent rent collections.
  • Provide necessary reports and perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Understanding of compliance documents and deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and team building.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of tax credit programs; HUD/Section 8 experience is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of Tax Credit and Property Management experience required.
  • Background screening and drug testing are mandatory.
