ASSISTANT COLORIST, LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST, COLOR BAR, WALNUT CREEK (PART TIME UP TO 30 HRS)

Are you a recent Cosmetology graduate? Do you love Hair Color and want to expand your Color knowledge?

Madison Reed is thrilled to be looking for a talented individual who loves coloring hair and interacting with customers. This dynamic role will be based in our Walnut Creek Color Bar and on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

1. Greet, assist, accommodate and escort all clients and visitors with a courteous, joyful nature.
2. Provide the highest level of customer service.
3. Communicate and engage clients with post-service options with Madison Reed, including product sales, booking future appointments, and online subscriptions.
4. Field both internal and external general questions and inquiries.
5. Assist Colorists on the floor with shampoo, blowouts, and help keep the salon tidy.
6. Attend brand training and receive one-on-one coaching to help progress to a Colorist.

Qualifications

1. Experience and passion for hair color; sales proficiency is highly preferred.
2. Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service.
3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
4. Able to handle several situations at once with poise and confidence.
5. Extremely organized and have strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to execute quickly and effectively.
7. Technologically savvy.

This role reports to the Salon Manager.

Compensation

Guaranteed hourly wage + TIPS + retail commissions.

Position Located: Broadway Plaza – Walnut Creek.
