The Assistant Colorist at Madison Reed Hair Color Bar supports Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead to provide a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. This role involves learning the services offered and working towards your next role. You should love beauty and hair color, and pride yourself on helping guests find the best color for them and executing their service with perfection.
The Madison Reed Assistant Colorist is the expert on consultations, hair care products, shampooing and conditioning, blowouts, unlimited roots membership program, and subscriptions, while learning and practicing various services. You will learn to connect with guests and team members to foster a friendly work environment, meet the demands of a busy day, maintain cleanliness and organization, and support each other. This position is in training for promotion to Licensed Colorist within 3-9 months. #livelifecolorfully
This role reports to the Manager and can be full or part-time depending on business needs. Availability during peak times is required to best serve guests.
Physical Demands: The role requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, manipulating fingers and hands, reaching, and occasionally sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to ten pounds. Communication with guests through conversations and consultations is also essential.
