Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a motivated colorist to support our color team and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will help with color services, styling assistance, and daily salon tasks while pursuing growth into a full colorist role.

Ideal candidates are licensed cosmetologists with a passion for hair color and strong customer service skills, ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced beauty environment.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Experience and passion for hair color.
• Sales proficiency is highly preferred.
• At least one year working in beauty service/salon/spa experience.
• Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service.
• Able to handle several situations at once with poise and confidence.
• Technologically savvy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Colorists with shampoo, blowouts, and keeping the color bar tidy.
• Attend brand training and receive one-on-one coaching to help progress to a Colorist.
• Provide excellent customer service during client visits.
• Support daily salon operations and ensure a welcoming environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly stand/walk for 4 consecutive hours or more at a time; regularly bend and twist at the waist, manipulate fingers and hands, bend wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms, speak, see, hear, and lift/move up to 3 pounds. May on occasion sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds.
