Job description

Washington State is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Coach for the Women’s Tennis Program. Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, developing, and evaluating academically and athletically qualified student-athletes in compliance with NCAA, Pac-12, WCC, and Washington State policies and procedures.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coaching: Perform all training and other coaching duties as assigned by the head coach. Assist in planning, writing, and implementing practices throughout the season. Prepare a yearly training plan with a periodized structure suitable for Division I competition. Identify and select talented athletes to prepare them for NCAA Division I participation.
2. Recruiting: Attend international and national junior tennis competitions throughout the season and summer. Maintain knowledge of compliance with University, Conference, and NCAA rules. Recruit prospective student-athletes. Assist in maintaining the social media presence for Washington State Women’s Tennis.
3. Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally for recruiting purposes.
