Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach

Job Location: On Campus

Job Summary: Spalding University is seeking a full-time Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. This position reports directly to the Head Coach and assists in coaching and recruiting, adhering to all University, Conference, and NCAA guidelines. Located downtown Louisville, Kentucky, Spalding University’s Lacrosse programs participate in the Heartland Athletic Conference as an NCAA Division III member.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize and execute daily practice plans.
  • File scouting reports, evaluate players, and assist in recruitment efforts.
  • Conduct on and off-campus recruiting.
  • Assist with game day management.
  • Support all soccer clinics and camps.
  • Manage social media accounts for the program.
  • Maintain effective relations with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Conduct academic grade checks with athletes.
  • Coordinate team travel.
  • Organize fundraising and community service activities.
  • Understand and apply NCAA Division III rules to uphold program integrity.
  • Represent Spalding University and the Athletic Department professionally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Collegiate coaching and playing experience preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Regular contact with administration, faculty, staff, students, and the public.
  • Respect for diverse populations.
