Job Title: Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse
Department: Athletics | Lacrosse Women
Instructs and teaches athletes the fundamentals of lacrosse, coaches technique and strategy. Assists in selecting team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules. Supports the head coach in managing administrative tasks such as scheduling competitions and practices, travel plans, and equipment. Responsible for overseeing and developing one other assistant coach and the director of operations. Monitors academic progress of student-athletes, audits information from academic support services, and ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and university regulations. This position operates in a collaborative environment that values creativity, change, and innovation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the intercollegiate level. Ability to work with a diverse population. Willingness to travel extensively during the recruiting process. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is desired.
