Job Summary: | The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position for an Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving. This position will support all aspects of the Marist Swimming program including recruiting qualified student-athletes, coaching and instruction of student-athletes, monitoring and supporting academic progress and progression toward a degree, and alumni and donor engagement. This position typically identifies and recruits academically and athletically elite student-athletes, partners with the head coach to build a cohesive team culture, partners in scouting and producing videos to prepare the team for competition and develops and maintains effective relationships and communication with students, colleagues, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, members of the media and the public. This position will also participate in budget management, financial reconciliation, team fundraising, may assist in game day management, and may coordinate summer camps and clinics, including paperwork, customer service, and financial reconciliation. |
