Assistant Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach
Summary: Reporting to the Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach the Assistant Golf Coach will be a contract employee. The Assistant Coach will uphold and assist the Head Coach, his vision, and the mission of Charleston Southern University’s Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf programs. The Assistant Coach will understand and embrace the academic and Christian mission of Charleston Southern University, including the role that Athletics serves to support that mission.

Program Operations
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Minimum Qualifications:
Essential Job Functions: Regular, on-time attendance; applicants must have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lb; applicants must be available to work nights and weekends; applicants may be required to work in inclement weather, applicants must attend mandatory coaches and departmental meetings. Certain jobs at Charleston Southern University may require specific physical and/or mental abilities and the hiring manager will provide additional information and provision of requests for reasonable accommodation if needed.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: Coaching relevant sport at the high school, collegiate, and/or professional level and experience competing in relevant sport at the collegiate or professional level. Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office, and the ability to quickly learn and work with new computer software systems. Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
