Job summary

New College of Florida is seeking a part-time Assistant Swimming Coach to support the Head Coach in coaching, recruiting, and program operations. You will help plan practices, develop student-athletes, and ensure meet-day readiness while adhering to college, conference, and NAIA requirements.

You will assist with recruiting activities, campus visits, and coordination of travel, equipment, and compliance tasks, contributing to a positive and competitive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of appropriate swimming coaching experience.
• Previous coaching experience at intercollegiate, club, or high school level.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Swimming Coach with practice planning and execution, individual and team instruction, skill development, conditioning, meet preparation, and student-athlete development.
• Support identification and evaluation of prospective student-athletes; communicate with recruits, families, and coaches; assist with campus visits and recruiting events.
• Assist with meet‑day responsibilities, team travel, equipment and facility coordination, compliance-related tasks, and other duties assigned by the Head Swimming Coach.

This part-time OPS position serves as an Assistant Swimming Coach for New College of Florida.
