Merrimack College is seeking a full-time assistant men’s volleyball coach responsible for supporting the head coach in managing the NCAA Division I program. Responsibilities include recruiting student-athletes, planning training sessions, and fostering academic success among team members. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree and relevant coaching experience, as well as a commitment to NCAA compliance and student welfare.
The assistant men’s volleyball coach is responsible for assisting the head men’s volleyball coach in all aspects of running an NCAA Division I men’s volleyball program by recruiting academically qualified prospective students-athletes, developing and implementing training sessions, practices and game plans, educating and coaching student-athletes, and supporting student-athletes in their personal, academic and athletic development at Merrimack College. This full-time position reports directly to the head men’s volleyball coach and is responsible for assisting in all phases of the program in accordance with NCAA Division I, Conference, and Merrimack College rules, regulations and policies.
