Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, seeks a part-time Assistant Coach responsible for mentoring student-athletes and guiding them academically and personally. You will actively recruit and retain athletes, oversee training programs, and manage the program's staff.

Position Type: Staff (Part-Time)
The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the coaching staff in coaching/mentoring student‑athletes technically and tactically on the field, as well as guiding them through academic achievement and personal development. The assistant coach is also responsible for actively recruiting and retaining student athletes, in addition to supervision of their program staff. The Assistant Coach reports to the Director of Rugby/Head Coach.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Must demonstrate an understanding of the Walsh University Statement of Faith and a commitment to support the Mission, Vision, Values and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae and the Catholic intellectual tradition.
At least 1-3 year’s coaching experience at the collegiate level or other significant experience relative to coaching Rugby and/or the administration of an intercollegiate athletics program.
