The assistant coach for RIT’s Division I Men’s Ice Hockey program will join an exceptional staff dedicated to creating an experience that fosters the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth of our student-athletes, preparing them for success as leaders in the global community.
Reporting to the Head Coach for Men’s Ice Hockey, the assistant coach will provide leadership for RIT’s Division I Men’s Ice Hockey program. The candidate must possess outstanding technical, tactical, and strategic knowledge of ice hockey. Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, supervision, mentoring, coaching, planning, scheduling, and implementing activities related to the team, including practices, games, player development, and advisement. The role requires adherence to NCAA, league, and university rules and regulations, with a strong emphasis on ethical conduct and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
The position may serve as a backup to the Head Coach and other duties as assigned.
