Job summary

Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama Campus, Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks Assistant Coaches to support our Girls Soccer program. These are seasonal positions for the 2026-2027 school year with tentative dates from November to February.

The roles require a high school diploma or GED, at least one year coaching experience, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel and evenings/weekends may be required.

KA SCHOOLS KAPALAMA CAMPUS ATHLETICS IS SEEKING ASSISTANT COACHES TO SUPPORT OUR GIRLS SOCCER PROGRAM. THESE ARE SEASONAL POSITIONS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2026-2027 WITH TENTATIVE SEASON DATES FROM NOVEMBER TO FEBRUARY.

This position will be paid a stipend of

$2,616 (Intermediate) or $3,270 (JV) at the end of the Winter season.

Minimum Qualifications - A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements listed.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in coaching.
• National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching Certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to relate effectively with a variety of individuals to include students, coaches, other KS staff, physicians, parents, teachers and administrators.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.
• Previous coaching experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends on a frequent basis.

Preferred Qualifications
Various high school or collegiate athletic participation
High school or collegiate coaching experience
Sensitivity to Hawaiian culture and Christian values.

Physical Requirements
Physical Activity such as walking, standing, dancing, running, bending, crouching, reaching, lifting, carrying, etc.

Working Conditions
This position may involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.
Work is conducted in an office/school environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.
Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but evening and weekend hours are often required to meet goals and objectives.
