Radford University is seeking an Assistant Coach for Cross Country/Track & Field to assist the Director in leading the Division I program at Radford University. This temporary/restricted role will oversee coaching, recruitment, and practice facilitation, contributing to the development of student-athletes on the Radford campus.
The position supports team success through on-site coaching, event instruction, and adherence to NCAA rules.

Assists the Director of Track and Field/Cross Country in the administration and leadership of the Radford University Division I Cross Country and Track and Field Program by providing coaching and instruction, recruiting, and facilitation of training and practice activities.
Temporary/Restricted position with an end date of June 24, 2027.
Coaching and/or recruiting experience in track & field at the collegiate level. Ability to demonstrate and teach advanced skills, knowledge, and strategies related to the jumping and combined events; knowledge of NCAA recruiting and compliance procedures; ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment as to the manner and method of teaching and the ability to work independently without direct supervision; excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and effective communication skil
