Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of and abide by current NCAA, MASCAC or other affiliated conferences’ rules and regulations regarding recruiting, eligibility and sport-specific rules concerning practice and playing seasons.
• Maintain knowledge of current sport game rules and changes to those rules as they occur.
• Assist the head coach with all phases of the organization of the program, including practice planning, contest management, recruiting, fundraising, and other responsibilities.
• Maintain record of program-related hours worked to comply with contracted maximum hours under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Conduct oneself ethically during practices and contests and demand appropriate behavior from all team personnel.
• Represent the program at department meetings and functions in the absence of the head coach.
• Other duties as requested.
