Job summary

MAHOMET-SEYMOUR CUSD 3 SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking an Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach for Mahomet-Seymour High School. Candidates must be certified teachers or have ASEP or NFHS certification, and non-district employees will need to pass a fingerprint background check annually.

The employment term is tied to the sport/extra-curricular activity and may require yearly re-application. Salary will follow the collective bargaining agreement policy, with upcoming negotiations for a new contract in the future.

Mahomet-Seymour High School is currently accepting applications for Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a certified teacher or be ASEP or NFHS certified. Non-district employees will be required to pass a fingerprint background check on an annual basis and may be required to update other onboarding paperwork each year.

Salary

Based on Appendix C of the MSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement (attached). The term of employment for non-district employees will be limited to the duration of the sport or extracurricular activity. Non-district employees may reapply for the coaching or extracurricular position annually.

NOTE: Our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year.
