FORDHAM University is seeking an Assistant Coach and Video Coordinator for its Men's Basketball program. The role involves coaching, recruiting, and overseeing video analysis to enhance player development and scouting. Title of Position
Title of Position Assistant Coach and Video Coordinator, Men's Basketball
Reporting to the Head Coach, Men’s Basketball, the Assistant Coach and Video Coordinator supports the men’s basketball program by coaching, teaching, recruiting, overseeing video editing, breakdown of film for the purpose of scouting opponents as well as player evaluations to advance the mission of the program.
This position requires frequent travel, as well as evening and weekend hours.
Essential Functions
Assists in the organization, planning, teaching, and coaching of all practices and games.
Assists Head Coach in the individual skill development of student-athletes.
Assists with the planning and scheduling of practice and workouts.
Evaluates, identifies, and recruits quality student-athletes within the University, Atlantic 10, and NCAA policies.
Works closely with the coaching staff to plan day-to-day practice sessions and maintain a recruiting database.
Prepares video for analyzing practice, games, and player development.
Creates player and team highlight film.
Records content to use for recruiting, branding, and in-season/off-season coverage of the program.
Complies with all NCAA , Atlantic 10 Conference and University rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Understanding and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Excellent computer skills.
High-level organizational skills.
Demonstrated commitment and motivation to building a successful program.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with an NCAA Division I basketball program.
Valid driver’s license.
Minimum Starting Salary
Minimum Starting Salary $75,000
Maximum Starting Salary
Maximum Starting Salary $90,000
