The Assistant Softball Coach will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of operating a competitive intercollegiate softball program. Responsibilities include supporting student-athlete development, planning and conducting practices, assisting with game preparation and strategy, recruiting prospective student-athletes, and fostering a positive team culture. The Assistant Coach will help promote academic success, sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth while ensuring compliance with all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting team practices and workouts.
• Provide on-field instruction to develop individual and team performance.
• Assist with game preparation, scouting, and in-game coaching.
• Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes in accordance with NCAA regulations.
• Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.
• Assist with team travel, equipment management, and other program operations.
• Build positive relationships with student-athletes, alumni, and the campus community.
• Represent the softball program and institution in a professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
