Del Amo Behavioral Health seeks an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing operations across the facility. The role develops goals, standards, policies and ensures alignment with administrative guidance to promote high-quality patient care.

You will advise leadership on procedural changes, drive implementation, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting a diverse clinical team through ongoing education and career development.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in CA.
• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Three or more years of progressive nursing management experience.
• Experience as a RN in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of behavioral health nursing practices and management.
• Extensive knowledge of nursing principles and patient care activities.
• Strong management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer develops department goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies and procedures, and organizes the department in accordance with administrative guidelines. The ACNO functions in an advisory capacity to administration in evaluating proposed procedural changes as they relate to patient care. This position directs the implementation and ensures compliance with the Standard of Nursing Practice and regulatory compliance that promotes optimum health care delivery.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of CA.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required
• Three or more years of progressive nursing management experience required
• Experience as a Registered Nurse in a psychiatric setting preferred
• Demonstrated working knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
• Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
