Job Summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus – Division of Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine – Assistant Clinical Professor (part‑time, 0.025 FTE).

Location

Onsite at Aurora, CO.

Responsibilities

The assistant clinical professor will provide clinical care on Surge MICU shifts within the Department of Medicine. Shifts are on an as‑needed basis and may be scheduled day, night, holiday, or weekend. Shift names, pay, duties and hours are subject to change and will be communicated in advance.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Must possess an MD or DO and be currently enrolled in Emergency Medicine residency training at Denver Health and Hospitals Authority (DHHA). The candidate must have completed three years of their residency training program.

Compensation

The starting salary range is established as follows:

• Day shifts (6:00‑5:00 PM): $125 per hour
• Night shifts (5:00‑6:00 AM): $144 per hour
• Holiday (Day) and weekend (Day) shifts (6:00‑5:00 PM): $144 per hour

Benefits cost will be subtracted from total shift pay. The position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless applicable.
