Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an Assistant Clinical Nutrition Manager to support Clinical Nutrition departments across Western Massachusetts. You will lead expert clinical practices, mentor staff, and coordinate with multiple Baystate facilities.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Nutrition/Dietetics, a Master’s preferred, and at least 5 years in acute care with supervisory experience. This full-time role involves day-to-day leadership and patient-centered care across several hospitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, Human Nutrition or related field; completion of accredited DPD program
• Master's Degree preferred and required for those who became certified RD in 2024 or thereafter
• 5 years of acute care clinical experience required
• Leadership capabilities and skills essential
• Adult learner knowledge and expertise

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expert knowledge in clinical nutrition and evidence-based practice
• Maintains staff competency through ongoing evaluations and audits
• Develops and implements staff development plans and mentoring programs
• Advances clinical nutrition role and networks to enhance patient care
