Job summary

FamilyMeans seeks an Assistant Clinical Director to provide clinical oversight for the Center for Grief & Loss in Stillwater/St. Paul, MN.

The role leads clinical direction, staff development, and program quality while coordinating with the Clinical Director to meet community needs. You will supervise therapists and support staff, oversee diagnostic assessments and treatment planning, and ensure policy compliance across the center.

Qualifications

• Master’s level degree in Social Work, Psychology, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Status as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota.
• Applicable independent licensure and clinical experience in an outpatient setting for 5+ years.
• Preferred: Board Approved Supervisor status in applicable discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction for the Center 25% of Time.
• Manage goal development and performance for program.
• Provide training and staff development opportunities.
• Assist facilitation of intakes and waitlist management.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director to select new therapists.
• Monitor implementation of clinical procedures and policies.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat clients 30% of Time.
• Develop treatment plans and review progress.
• Provide regularly scheduled appointments for individuals, couples, and families.
