Job summary

The Recovery Village in Salem, OR seeks an experienced Assistant Clinical Director to lead clinical operations, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. This role partners with the Clinical Director to manage programs, drive quality care, and coach clinicians across the facility.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and independent state licensure, with at least two years in mental health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Independently licensed in the state of practice (LMHP, LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in mental health.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and patient confidentiality laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour management of clinical functions alongside the Clinical Director.
• Lead and mentor the clinical staff to achieve compliance and quality metrics.
• Ensure documentation audits meet company policy and regulatory standards (JC, state, ASAM).
• Supervise/coach clinicians and provide clinical supervision where needed.
• Coordinate with leadership to improve department performance and outcomes.
• Participate in recruit/hiring and maintain positive staff relationships.
