Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is now hiring for
Assistant Clinic Unit Manager. This position will work closely with the Clinic Unit Manager by assisting with the supervision of staff at assigned ARMC Primary and Specialty Care Clinics.
Other Duties Will Include:- Supervise and direct the work of Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Care and Clinic Assistants assigned to the Clinics.
- Assist with work performance evaluations; disciplinary actions and hiring.
- Prepares schedules and oversees payroll time and attendance processing which includes approving time off.
- Assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care by assuring assignments are made on the basis of knowledge, skills, and competency level with consideration for the needs of each patient.
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous patient experience improvement efforts.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.

Pre-Employment Process: Incumbents must pass a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting, work history & education check, as well as a job-related physical exam and drug screening.

License: Must possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Certification: Must possess and maintain a current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
-AND-Experience: Two (2) years as a Registered Nurse in a Clinic, Ambulatory, Inpatient, or Outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of Charge Nurse or Lead experience in Ambulatory Services or Outpatient setting. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or related field is highly desired.
