You will supervise Human Resources and Risk Management, Homelessness Community Outreach, Emergency Preparedness, Community Services and IT services, and help translate Council priorities into measurable outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on, energetic, and collaborative leader with broad knowledge of local government operations.
• Translate Council and City Manager priorities into measurable outcomes.
• Experience as Assistant City Manager or Deputy City Manager or similar public-sector leadership.
• Experience with Human Resources and Labor Relations is valuable.

Aufgaben

• Direct supervision of the City's HR and Risk Management Department.
• Coordinate and monitor operating departments and management staff.
• Monitor legislation and advise City leaders on implications for operations.
• Prepare and coordinate City Council agenda and executive team meetings.
• Attend City Council meetings and liaise with community organizations.
• Serve as Acting City Manager in the City Manager’s absence.
