Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Able to work collaboratively with lead teachers and families.
• Committed to ongoing learning and safety in the classroom.
• Familiarity with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in day-to-day care of children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Support implementation of age-appropriate curriculum for development.
• Observe and document milestones, communicating with families.
• Follow licensing, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
