Your Role as an Assistant Teacher

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll team up with our Lead Teachers to bring our high-quality, play-based curriculum to life, aligned with Oklahoma QRIS and NAEYC standards. You’ll be a vital part of our classroom, helping little learners thrive through:

  • Supporting daily activities, from hands-on play to structured lessons, sparking curiosity and excitement.
  • Keeping kids safe and happy during classroom time, playground fun, and transitions.
  • Setting up engaging learning centers and preparing materials to create a welcoming, child-friendly space.
  • Offering individualized attention to meet each child’s unique needs, building their confidence and skills.
  • Collaborating with your team to keep families in the loop about their child’s day and milestones.


What We’re Looking For

  • Education: A high school diploma is a must; coursework or a degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is a bonus!
  • Experience: Previous preschool or childcare experience is a plus, but a big heart for kids is what matters most.
  • Qualities: You’re dependable, adaptable, and full of enthusiasm for helping young children grow. Team players with a caring spirit thrive here!
