Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Canton, GA is hiring an Assistant Childcare Teacher to support the Lead Teacher and provide high-quality care in a GA DECAL-aligned environment.

The role emphasizes safe, engaging classrooms, developmentally appropriate activities, and regular communication with families. A background in early childhood education and current CPR/First Aid certification are required or obtainable soon after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia2 from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
• In progress, or willingness to obtain CDA, TCC, or paraprofessional (preferred).
• Teaching/Childcare 1 year preferred.
