Job description

Part-time Day Care Teaching Positions

Available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30, with some flexibility. This is a temporary position from May 26, 2025, to August 31, 2025.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities tailored to children's needs and interests.
  2. Maintain open communication with parents about their child's daily milestones.
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following proper procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred).
  • CDA, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations, physicals, and training. The position involves working in person at an early education center, ensuring children's safety and well-being. Details can be reviewed at this link. Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $12.90 to $16.00, based on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. The listed range reflects Bright Horizons' good faith estimate of the starting pay.
