Job summary

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida, is seeking an Assistant Chief of Emergency Medicine to lead our Emergency Department. This executive role oversees 24/7 physician and APP coverage and coordinates with Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, and other services within the HCA network.

The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine with strong leadership skills, a focus on patient safety, and experience in an expanding ED environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Will consider Board-Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM) with a minimum of 24 months current Emergency Medicine experience.
• ATLS.
• ACLS and PALS.
