The Assistant Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) will assist the CMO in serving as the key physician contact on all matters involving provider quality, patient safety, occupational medicine and provider performance issues. Additionally, the position will provide specialized focus to identify and develop a physician leadership network in order to move the clinical agenda forward and gain trust and collaboration from providers in Urgent Care Service Line facilities.
Success in this position is measured by innovative and heightened quality metrics and outcomes, maximizing and achieving governmental requirements, and collaborative and productive relationships with many HCA lines of business and executives including but not limited to the Physician Services Group, Clinical Services Group, IT&S, hospital/division operations and internal Urgent Care Service Line executives.

The ideal candidate is comfortable using data to drive performance, developing physician leaders, influencing across multiple levels of an organization, and balancing clinical excellence with operational and business objectives.
