Requirements
- We need at least 5 years of experience in data center operations and management.
- We need strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture.
- We need familiarity with industry standards and best practices such as ASHRAE, TIA, and the Uptime Institute.
- We need excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- We need strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- We need proficiency with facility management software and building automation systems.
- We require a valid certification in at least one relevant area, such as CDCP, DCPRO, or an equivalent credential.
- We require a valid drivers license.
- We prefer a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- We prefer experience with energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable data center practices.
- We prefer knowledge of project management methodologies.
- We prefer multi-site data center management experience.
- We need candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- We assist with the management and coordination of data center facility operations and maintenance activities.
- We supervise and mentor technical staff, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- We monitor and evaluate the performance of critical systems such as power, cooling, and network infrastructure.
- We develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- We collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
- We participate in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrade projects.
- We respond to and manage critical incidents and emergency situations.
- We prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for management and clients.
- We serve as the first point of contact for service-impacting events involving the electrical distribution system.
- We help the team troubleshoot and mitigate incidents.
- We support the creation of root cause analyses (RCAs).
- We provide after-hours support for electrical distribution systems.
- We deliver 24/7 response coverage when required.
