Marquette Management Inc. is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join our Chicago, IL team.

The role focuses on keeping residents in clean, well-maintained living environments through hands-on maintenance of apartments and common areas, with duties spanning repairs, turnovers, and on-call coverage. Required are prior maintenance experience, preferably in apartments or hotels, plus strong customer service and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment or hotel industry.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances and apartment turnovers is expected.
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs to apartments and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments and maintain grounds.
• Snow and trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning and landscaping.
