Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools' Robbinsdale Cooper High School is seeking an Assistant Cheerleading Coach to support the program and uphold the high standards of athletic conduct. The candidate will generate an attitude of fair play, attend contests and practices, and assist the head coach in daily coaching duties.

The role requires knowledge of cheerleading rules and safety practices, plus willingness to implement new coaching ideas and strategies within the school's athletic framework.

Qualifications

  • Coaching experience in cheerleading or related sport is required or preferred.
  • Knowledge of sport rules, techniques, and safety practices.
  • AACCA Safety and Stunt Progression Certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Generate an attitude of fair play for adhering to the Minnesota State High School League Code of Ethics.
  • Carry out responsibilities of a head coach.
  • Be in regular attendance at all contest and practice sessions.
  • Instruct student/athlete in rules, rule changes, new developments and innovative ideas in coaching.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations as presented by the Minnesota State High School League.
  • Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
  • Follow rules and regulations of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
