Job summary

Champion Force Athletics is seeking Cheerleading Coaches to support or lead teams across Michigan this season. Roles require 1–2 evenings for practice and some weekends for travel to competitions.

Candidates with cheer, dance, or gymnastics experience are preferred but not required. The ideal applicant is reliable, can pass a background check, communicates well, stays organized, and enjoys teaching children ages 4–15. This is a fun, part-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must have cheer, dance, or gymnastics experience; coaching youth is a plus.
• Ability to teach children ages 4–15 and manage class activities.
• Willing to dedicate 1–2 evenings for practice and some weekends for travel.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach and lead cheer classes and clinics.
• Prepare lesson plans and manage class check-ins and attendance.
• Coordinate with teams for practices, events, and competitions.
• Attend occasional meetings and clinics; support cheer competitions.

Job description

Continued success and growth forces us to seek additional Cheerleading Coaches to assist or head up our teams across the country this season. Candidates must be team players and willing to coach all levels of teams and classes.

Previous cheer knowledge is preferred, but not required, and a gymnastics background is a plus. The ideal candidate must be willing to dedicate 1 to 2 evenings for practices and some weekends for travel to various competitions.

Champion Force Athletics is looking for someone who can answer "Yes!" to these questions:

• Do you have Cheer, Dance, or Gymnastics experience?
• Do you enjoy working with children, ages 4-15?
• Do you have a reliable transportation?
• Do you want to make a difference in the lives of youth?

Classes may be scattered throughout the evening, but most coaches will work no more than 3-4 classes in a day. Must be able to pass background check.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize various projects and deadlines.

Experience with teaching children is a plus! Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-ins, and basic record-keeping. There will also be occasional meetings, clinics, and a cheer competitions each session. This is truly one of the most fun part-time jobs you can imagine!
