Primary Purpose

The management trainee program aims to prepare future managers with essential skills and knowledge. Department assignments will be based on store needs.

Responsibilities
  • Follow all company policies and standard practices.
  • Manage department operations in the absence of the department manager.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming policies.
  • Recognize and coach associates to deliver excellent service.
  • Utilize company tools such as financial reports, scheduling, and business systems.
  • Communicate effectively within the department and organization.
  • Ensure merchandising and pricing standards are met.
  • Support safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Develop product knowledge and ensure department standards are upheld.
  • Train department associates and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Promote fairness, dignity, and respect among staff, providing recognition and feedback.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Leadership ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift 1-40 lb. frequently, up to 100 lb. on occasion.
  • Stand or walk continuously.
  • Perform repetitive motions and handle cleaning and packaging substances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding customer service skills and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to oversee workflow, inventory, and staff scheduling.
  • Maintain product quality and safety standards.
Compensation

Salary range: $17.35 - $24.75 per hour.
