Your Role as Assistant Director – Preschool:

You’ll work alongside the Center Director to ensure the smooth operation of the center and the success of our children, families, and staff.

Leadership and Staff Engagement:

  • Set a positive, professional tone and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Help recruit, onboard, and coach a talented team of educators
  • Support staff performance, engagement, and retention
Center Operations:

  • Maintain compliance with all state licensing and health and safety regulations
  • Assist with daily operations including scheduling, payroll, and recordkeeping
  • Uphold high standards in cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
Curriculum and Parent Partnerships:

  • Guide and support teaching teams in implementing TLE’s proprietary curriculum
  • Build strong relationships with families through daily interactions and regular communication
  • Lead center tours and support enrollment growth through strong customer experience
Community Involvement:

  • Organize center events and engage in community outreach efforts
  • Represent TLE at local events to promote brand awareness and partnership
What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role within a preschool or childcare setting
  • Indiana Director/Administrator credential (preferred or in progress)
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Indiana state licensing regulations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for early childhood education and a drive to support others
