Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers to success with our world‑class curriculum, enrollment goals, accreditation processes, and daily operations. You will partner with the Center Director to coach teaching staff, support families, and ensure a warm, engaging learning environment.

In this role you will cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners, serve in multiple center roles as needed,

Qualifications

• Two years of early childhood education experience required, with understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role and responsibilities.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors; basic computer use.
• Must read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Indicate if you require reasonable accommodation to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various center roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
