Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Director for one of its KinderCare centers. You will help lead teaching staff, engage families, and drive center success with a focus on high-quality early childhood education.

As part of a team that values growth, you will partner with families, ensure program quality, and support enrollment and accreditation efforts in a dynamic early childhood setting.

Qualifications

• Two years’ early childhood education experience; knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Indicate if you require reasonable accommodation to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
