Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to lead teaching staff and support families while achieving enrollment and accreditation goals. The role emphasizes collaboration with parents and community partners across our centers.

You will work within KinderCare’s curriculum framework and help drive high-quality early childhood education outcomes for children and families nationwide.

Qualifications

• Two years of early childhood education experience and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with children and parents.
• Able to request reasonable accommodation if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
