Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director in Illinois. You will assist the Center Director in guiding teaching staff, engaging families, and driving enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations to ensure high-quality early childhood education.

You will collaborate with parents, educators, and state authorities, taking on diverse center roles as needed to deliver exceptional care and education for children.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed (teacher, cook, driver)
