Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead teaching staff, support families, and drive enrollment and accreditation objectives across the center.

You will partner with parents to deliver high-quality early education, cultivate positive relationships with licensing authorities and community partners, and step into varied roles as needed to ensure smooth operations and exceptional experiences for children and families.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer and lift up to 40 pounds; work indoors or outdoors.
• English literacy for communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operations goals.
• Collaborate with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
• Serve in various roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and driver.
