Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is actively seeking an Assistant Caregiver in Scottsdale to support residents with daily living activities and transport to activities or meals. The role requires responsiveness to emergencies and adherence to care plans, with a focus on compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CPR certification, and experience with seniors; some positions offer qualification certification within 30 days if needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.
• If not certified, must be able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire, if required.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.

Schedule: Full Time

The Assistant Caregiver provides assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations. You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations; document and report care provided; and transport residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.
