Job summary

Avis Rent a Car-Bismarck Airport is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Bismarck City Manager at the rental counter. Responsibilities include servicing customers, arranging vehicle returns, increasing incremental sales, and cleaning/prepping vehicles for the next rental.

After completing a ten week basics training, you will transition into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations and sales across multiple departments, with benefits for full-time staff and a focus on on-site

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Competent with Office Suite programs.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Willing to participate in background and drug screenings.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the rental counter.
• Arrange vehicle returns and manage flow at the counter.
• Drive incremental sales and upsell opportunities.
• Clean and prepare returned vehicles for the next rental.
• After training, supervise daily operations and sales across counter, garage, fleet and staff.
